*Raise the Roof

We partner with Rotarian Ray Richardson from Whitby Sunrise to sell toques and scarves with all proceeds going to a local youth house/shelter. To collect change to purchase hats for the kids themselves, we sell paper hats with a space for their name so we can advertise everyone who is helping to 'raise the roof.' Also putting change toward these hats, we have musical guests from all over Oshawa play guitars and other acoustic instruments around campus "busking for change" to shed light on the homeless lifestyle.

It's a lot of fun and a great cause! We know you will enjoy it if you get involved!

About Us

     Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and theyre sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. As one of Rotarys most significant and fastest-growing service programs, with more than 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon.      All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
